BLOCK combines its own electrical and mechanical parts, standard or custom, with selected third party parts, and delivers a closed system that drops into your machine or site. The work runs from specification and design through simulation, build and test at BLOCK's development center in Verden, Germany, with more than 25 years in custom power systems.

Systems BLOCK has built
DC protection for 19 in racks
A ready to connect DC distribution system for 19 in racks with 21 individually protected supply circuits rated 15 A, 25 A or 60 A. Each circuit has its own short circuit and overload protection with automatic shutdown, and temperature controlled fans with aluminum filters keep it cool.
Decentralized 24 VDC system in an IP65 enclosure
Redundant 24 VDC, 20 A (480 W) supply from two switched mode power supplies joined by a redundancy module, a supercapacitor UPS that rides through a main power failure, and an 8 channel electronic circuit breaker, all behind IP65 connectors. Input 320 to 575 VAC/VDC, 50 to 60 Hz.
BLOCK parts inside: PCC-0324 power supply (20 A); PC-0624 redundancy module (20 A); PC-0424 UPS charge and control unit (20 A); PC-0724 multichannel circuit breaker (8 channels).
Ready to connect supply for wind turbine pitch control
A plug and play power package for rotor blade pitch drives: a 30 kVA autotransformer and three 43 A line reactors with cables and connectors, contactors, motor protection breakers and surge protection, wired in a stainless IP23 enclosure.
Machine supply for worldwide installs
A 35 kVA isolating three phase transformer in an enclosure with a main switch and three 16 A breakers feeding three CEE outlets. Primary taps for 208, 220, 415, 440 and 480 VAC; 400 V, 5 pole secondary.
Grid connection box for battery storage
A 19 in rack box with a BLOCK EMI filter and reactor for 75 kW of battery storage inverter output. Several boxes stack into one storage unit. The filter handles EMC limits and the reactor cuts line feedback.
330 kVA switchable autotransformer
A single phase 330 kVA autotransformer in an IP23 mobile enclosure, 110 VAC primary at 3,000 A, with the output switchable from 150 to 180 VAC by PLC or key switch. Built for test stands.
What to send us for a custom system
Input voltage and phase, output voltages and currents, the loads and how many circuits, protection per circuit, backup time if you need a UPS, the enclosure rating and the space it has to fit, ambient temperature, connectors, and any listings the system needs. A sketch or a one-line is enough to start.
