How It Works

1

Send Your Nameplate

Email us the manufacturer, HP, RPM, voltage, frame, and enclosure type. Or just snap a photo of the nameplate and send it.

2

We Cross-Reference

Our team matches your motor specs to the appropriate TECO-Westinghouse equivalent, verifying frame, mounting, shaft, and efficiency.

3

Receive Your Quote

You get the TECO-Westinghouse part number, pricing, efficiency comparison, and current lead time, typically within one business day.

Brands We Cross-Reference

We commonly replace motors from these manufacturers with TECO-Westinghouse equivalents. If your brand isn't listed, send it anyway. We can cross-reference virtually any NEMA or IEC frame motor.

Reading a TECO Westinghouse Catalog Number

Most TECO Westinghouse motor catalog numbers read left to right: family, horsepower, poles, then a suffix. Once you can read one, you can check a cross at a glance. Here is EP0104C, a 10 HP, 1800 RPM, TEFC, C-face motor.

How to read TECO Westinghouse catalog number EP0104C: EP is the family (MAX-E1 NEMA Premium, TEFC), 010 is the horsepower (10 HP), 4 is the pole count (1800 RPM), C means C-face mounting. Example: TECO Westinghouse EP0104CEPFamilyEP = MAX-E1TEFC010Horsepower010 = 10 HP7/5 = 7.5 HP4Poles4 = 4 pole1800 RPMCMountingC = C-faceblank = no C-face
Pole digit Poles Speed (60 Hz)
2 2 3600 RPM
4 4 1800 RPM
6 6 1200 RPM
8 8 900 RPM
HP code Horsepower
0/2 1/4 HP
0/3 1/3 HP
0/5 1/2 HP
0/7 3/4 HP
1/5 1.5 HP
7/5 7.5 HP
001, 010, 100 1, 10, 100 HP
Family What it is
EP MAX-E1 NEMA Premium, TEFC
HB, HBV MAX-E2/841 severe duty, TEFC
DHP Open drip proof (ODP)
XP, XPV Explosion proof (TEXP)

Other suffix letters mark variants of the same motor. Send the full catalog number, or the nameplate of the motor you are replacing, and we confirm frame and mounting before we quote.

What We Need From You

The more nameplate data you provide, the faster and more accurate the cross-reference. At minimum, we need HP, RPM, and voltage. Ideally, provide all of the following:

✓ Manufacturer & Model

✓ Horsepower (HP)

✓ Speed (RPM)

✓ Voltage

✓ Frame Size

✓ Enclosure Type (TEFC, ODP, etc.)

✓ Mounting (Foot, C-Face, etc.)

✓ Efficiency Class

Or just snap a photo of the nameplate and send it to chris@appliedcontrolinc.com. We'll pull the data.

Need a Drive to Go with Your Motor?

We also supply AC drives, DC drives, and soft starters. Let us quote a complete motor + drive package optimized for your application, including line reactors and transformers if needed.
