Picking the size
Size the tray by cable area, not by weight. Add up the cross section of every cable in the run, then pick a tray whose useful area holds that total at 50 percent fill or less (NEC 392.22). Keep the support spacing at 5 ft or shorter to hold the load figure above. Basorfil wire is waved, not straight, which is how Basor gets these load numbers from a light section. Cut and bend the mesh on site for tees, drops and direction changes. Use offset bolt cutters and cut close to a wire crossing. Covers, dividers, drop-out plates, trapeze hangers, wall brackets and center hangers are in the catalog. Send the run layout and we quote the hardware with the tray.
Other finishes
