Reading the catalog number

Marathon open blocks use one number per family with the pole count in the fourth digit. 1341516 is 1-pole, 1342516 is 2-pole, 1343516 is 3-pole. The last three digits set the connector layout. In the 134 series, 585, 595, 588 and 516 are aluminum distribution blocks with 8, 12, 9 and 6 load openings. 953 and 955 are the copper connector versions with 6 load openings. 582 and 360 are splicers (one in, one out).

Pick the block by the feeder amps, then the line conductor, then the number of taps per pole. Every 134 block is UL Listed, so it works on a UL 508A feeder circuit. Send the drawing or the wire list and we check it with you.
