Reading the catalog number

Marathon open blocks use one number per family with the pole count in the fourth digit. 1321570 is 1-pole, 1322570 is 2-pole, 1323570 is 3-pole. The last three digits set the connector layout. 570 and 580 are aluminum distribution blocks with 4 and 6 taps. 970 is the copper 4 tap version. 572 and 972 are aluminum and copper splicers. 587 gives 8 taps: two #4 and six #8.

Pick the block by the feeder amps, then the line conductor, then the number of taps per pole. If the panel is UL 508A and the block sits on a feeder, tell us. We will match the feeder rated series. Send the drawing or the wire list and we check it with you.
