3% or 5%?
A 3% reactor is the usual pick on the line side of a drive. It knocks down the current harmonics the drive puts back on the supply and buffers the drive's DC bus from voltage transients. A 5% reactor gives more harmonic attenuation and more transient protection at the cost of a little more voltage drop. On the load side (between drive and motor) either impedance slows the dV/dt at the motor terminals on longer cable runs. The 5% unit on this page pairs with 3PR-0008C3H at the other impedance.
