CFM values are fan blowing into the enclosure and out through an exhaust filter, which keeps the cabinet under positive pressure. Pfannenberg free-air CFM is higher and is what our product titles show. Sizes in inches. Seifert CFM is from the Seifert published curves, as listed in the Pfannenberg competitor comparison. Confirm the current datasheets before you release a drawing.
What to check before you swap
Seifert lists separate IP54 and IP55 airflow. Seifert fans lose a quarter to almost half of their flow at IP55 (FL 4620A: 113 CFM at IP54, 81 CFM at IP55). If your spec calls for IP55, compare the IP55 column. The Seifert 4.88 in and 3.60 in cutouts are slightly smaller than the Pfannenberg cutout, so open the hole by the amount shown. The FL 4023D at 21 CFM is above the PF 11000. For that flow, step up to the PF 22000 in a 4.92 in cutout. The 24 and 48 V DC Seifert fans in the 8.78 in size cross to the PF 42500 or PF 43000 in 24 V DC. For 48 V DC in that size, ask us.
Pfannenberg PF fans from the PF 22000 up use a fluted filter. It holds the same CFM at IP55 as at IP54, so compare the IP55 column if your spec calls for IP55. Pfannenberg NEMA 3R filter fans come in RAL 7035 light gray or black.

What Pfannenberg filter fan replaces a Seifert FL 4620A?
PF 43000: 122 CFM at IP54 and IP55 through an exhaust filter, in the same 8.78 in cutout. The FL 4620A is 113 CFM at IP54 and 81 CFM at IP55.
What replaces a Seifert FL 4210A?
PF 22000: 28 CFM at IP54 and IP55. The FL 4210A is 32 CFM at IP54 and 22 CFM at IP55. The PF 22000 cutout is 4.92 in, so open the 4.88 in hole 0.04 in.
What replaces a Seifert FL 4833A or FL 4883A?
PF 67000: 368 CFM at IP54 and IP55 in an 11.46 in cutout, versus 324 CFM at IP54 and 277 CFM at IP55 for the Seifert fan.
Is there a Pfannenberg 48 V DC filter fan?
Yes. The PF 22000 comes in 48 V DC. Other sizes come in 24 V DC up to the PF 43000.
